Hi, I’m Bob German; thanks for checking out my blog.

I’m a Cloud Developer Advocate for Microsoft, where I create content to help developers build on the Microsoft 365 platform. Prior to rejoining Microsoft, I was a Principal Architect at BlueMetal Architects, where I lead SharePoint development and deployment engagements for enterprise customers. Prior to that, I was an architect for the Microsoft Technology Center in Boston, MA; I also worked for Microsoft Consulting Services building and tuning web sites and other networking solutions.

I’ve been developing on the SharePoint platform since it was called “Site Server”, and am co-author of SharePoint 2010 Development with Silverlight for Addison-Wesley. I’m a recipient of the Microsoft MVP award for Office Development, and a regular participant in the Office Developer Kitchens and related pre-release program.
